Warm, thoughtful and genuinely invested in every celebration.

Who Is
Donna Hope?

Donna has always shared a deep love for people and communication. As a Member of Parliament and Ambassador for Bowel Cancer Australia, she was no stranger to celebrations and life's milestones. The seed was planted when she was asked by friends to officiate their wedding, and the rest, as they say, is history.

As a mother of four sons, Donna has always made family and celebration the heart of everything she does. With over 35 years of experience across communications, public relations, event management and politics, she brings a calm confidence and natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2024 for service to the people of Victoria and bowel cancer awareness, Donna is known for her warm presence, thoughtful approach and ability to create ceremonies that feel deeply personal, relaxed and beautifully memorable.

Donna can travel Australia-wide for weddings, celebrations and destination events, including ceremonies held in Australian waters and airspace.

Donna holds a Certificate IV in Civil Celebrancy and a Bachelor of Public Relations and Communications, and brings strong skills across networking, marketing, event planning, organisation and crisis management.

Her career has spanned government, the corporate sector, Parliament, aviation, and years as a Flight Attendant and Cabin Manager, working with thousands of people from all walks of life. These experiences have given her the communication skills, confidence and calm presence to create ceremonies that feel professional, personal and genuinely memorable.

“At the heart of Hope Celebrancy is a genuine love for storytelling, connection and bringing people together to celebrate life's most meaningful moments.”
